This policy explains how the operator of nikoff.cc (“nikoff”) handles information submitted through Motion Library accounts, the custom mocap request form, and normal use of the website.
Information collected
When you request a custom mocap quote, the website may collect your name, email, company or studio, Telegram or Discord username, project information, animation brief, technical requirements, budget and deadline information, and reference links you choose to provide.
When you create a Motion Library account, the website stores your email address, optional display name, an optional securely hashed password, email-verification status, accepted policy versions, account-security settings, favorites, licenses, acquired-animation history, and download history. Authenticator secrets are encrypted at rest when optional two-factor authentication is enabled.
If you continue with Google, Google authenticates you and provides nikoff.cc with a verified email address, display name, and a stable Google account identifier used to link future sign-ins. The website does not store your Google password, Google access token, or Google refresh token.
For security and abuse prevention, the website also processes technical information such as the IP address and browser user agent. Account and request security records use keyed hashes of IP-related identifiers where practical rather than retaining raw values in application tables. A secure session cookie is used to protect forms, accounts, and the administration area.
How the information is used
- To review your brief, ask follow-up questions, prepare a quote, and discuss a possible project.
- To create and protect your account, verify your email, reset your password, remember favorites, and maintain license and download records.
- To protect the form, website, and administration area from spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To understand aggregate website usage and improve the site.
Submitting a request does not create a confirmed booking or order. The scope and commercial terms are agreed separately.
Service providers and transfers
Hosting, infrastructure, and security providers may process limited data where needed to operate the website. Google processes the authentication request when you choose “Continue with Google” under Google's own privacy terms. If you provide a link to a third-party storage service, that provider handles the linked material under its own privacy terms. Personal information is not sold. Some providers may operate in other countries and apply their own legally required safeguards.
Retention
Account data is retained while the account is active and for as long as reasonably needed afterwards to maintain license and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Requests are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate the enquiry, communicate about the project, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, and protect the website. Expired security tokens and obsolete technical events may be removed earlier.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where applicable. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to complain to a data protection authority.
